Others may call for a Site Plan Permit (handled administratively) or a Conditional Use Permit (requiring a public hearing before the Planning Commission and City Council). Site Plan Permits normally take 30-45 days to process; Conditional Use Permits may take 45-90 days to process. Projects subject to environmental review may add additional time to the process. In certain circumstances, permit-processing time may be reduced. A City Business License is also required. Additional information on specific permit and zoning requirements can be obtained from the Planning Department.
