 |

The Monterey County Board of Supervisors originally established the Overall Economic Development Committee (OEDC) in 1970 to comply with Economic Development Administration requirements for local program development. The Board reorganized the OEDC as a commission in 1980 with responsibility for developing and reviewing County economic development policies and objectives. The Board reorganized the OEDC again in 2000 to increase the membership.
